When does the event open and close ?

The festival site opens at 11am and closes at 10pm. We are partying for a glorious 11 hours! Last entry to the festival site is 9pm.

What can I bring with me ?

The following admission policy applies and will be displayed when advertising the event, including on the website:

  • Strictly no illegal substances will be permitted onto the event site, as such persons entering the festival may be subject to search.

  • Any substance categorised as a ‘legal high’ is strictly prohibited

  • You are NOT permitted to bring any liquids to the event. Alcohol purchased in the event cannot be taken outside of the event area.

  • The only containers permitted in the festival site are to carry non-alcoholic liquid in collapsible cardboard, foil, or plastic containers of not more than 500ml

  • There is no separate ticket for disabled patrons

  • If you look under 25, please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. Please bring proof of identification (ID) to show you are over 18. The only forms of ID that will be accepted are passports and driving licences.

  • In the event of cancellation of the event, participants will be informed prior

  • Participants and attendees’ consent to the photography, filming/sound recording of the event which may be used for promotional purposes.

  • It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces, please observe any signage around the event site.

  • The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the event site.

  • Glass or any prohibited article will not be allowed onto the event site.

  • No private sound systems are permitted on the event site.

  • Please respect the site and use the bins provides

Age Restrictions

Pride is inclusive of all. We welcome all ages to the festival. However, Children are welcome, under 16 year olds should be accompanied by adults.

Do I need ID?

Yes! We operate a Challenge 25 policy. Please have your ID ready for inspection when you arrive for entry. Our bar staff are required to conduct random ID checks when serving, please don’t be offended if you are asked for ID again. All bars reserve the right to refuse service if you cannot provide a valid ID – please note it is an offence to purchase alcohol for anyone under the age of 18 years, and will result in ejection from the Festival. Acceptable forms of ID include a Government issued Passport or Drivers Licence, or an ID card which bears the PASS hologram. Photos or photocopies are NOT accepted.

Where is the festival site ?

Salisbury Pride UK Festival 2021will take place from on Saturday 4th September 2021 at Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Salisbury.

Are there ATM machines on site?

There will be no ATM machines on site.

Anti-social or homophobic behaviour?

Salisbury Pride UK operate a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards anti-social or homophobic/transphobic behaviour. We reserve the right to eject anybody from the festival site.

Are dogs allowed on the festival site?

Friendly dogs are welcome and MUST be kept on a lead at all times.

Any doggy mess needs to be cleaned up by the owners and disposed.


What time are the acts on ?

All the stage times and Pride Day info will be available from our social media channels or own website.


Where to stay?

There are many different accommodation options within walking distance of Salisbury Pride UK. You may wish to book a hotel, a B&B, or stay with friends. Book early to save disappointment !

The closest train station is Salisbury. Salisbury station South Western Road Salisbury Wiltshire SP2 7RS

Travelling by Bus?

Take a bus to Blue Boar Row, Canal Street, Fisherton Street.


Are there accessible toilets?

There is wheelchair accessible toilets located on the festival site.


Wristbands Rules

Salisbury Pride UK is a FREE LGBTQ festival. Wristbands will be issued from the event organisers or nominated persons in categories:

  • Over 18 years.
  • Under 18 years
  • VIP wristband - (Charges apply)
Wristband Rules
  • Wristbands must be securely fastened or may be void.
  • Wristbands must be intact, in one piece, and worn at all times.
  • Torn or ripped wristbands will not be accepted for entry.
  • Lost wristbands will not be replaced under any circumstances and if you are not wearing a valid wristband you will be asked to leave the festival site.
  • Wristbands are not transferable between visitors.
  • Wristbands are required for drink purchases at all venues and outdoor bars within the main festival site.

Pride Tickets

Every individual customer arriving at Salisbury Pride UK festival must present their own ticket. All tickets must be exchanged for a wristband on first entry.

VIP Benefits

Benefits to the holder of a VIP wristband include: Meet-and-greet opportunities with selected artists. However, this cannot be guaranteed.

Where can I park?

There is NO on-site parking. Salisbury Pride UK takes no responsiabilty for vehicles left at owners risk.

Will I feel safe?

Salisbury Pride UK is there to be a safe space for everyone. We ask anyone who comes to our event to be considerate and welcome everyone regardless of age, gender, sex, sexual orientation, race, and background. Anyone who is not and makes hurtful or abusive comments will be asked to leave. If you notice such behaviour or any fights, please let a member of security or one of our volunteers know.

Dealing with the weather...

The great British weather is part of the fun of UK festivals! We will do our utmost to provide you with a great experience, so you enjoy yourself and stay safe. Check the weather forecast before leaving home, so you’re dressed for the temperature and conditions as there will be limited shade and shelter onsite. Should conditions prove so dangerous to cause us to cancel the festival, we will make a public announcement at our earliest convenience.

Festival Medical Services

In an emergency: Alert a volunteer or a security person who will know the way to the nearest medical facility Depending on the problem, you may be advised to go to a medical point, or a medical response may be sent to you. This could be an ambulance, paramedic or first responder.

We’ve been working hard to provide a great variety of hot and cold ‘street food’ and our bars will stock a wide range of branded beverages. There will be plenty of fuel to keep you dancing all day long!
